Mary Margaret-isms

MM: Mommy my little giraffe, E-wi-zabeth is sick. She needs some ty-me-nol.

*************************************************

This afternoon we were outside playing and walking around the block. MM had to pick up sticks.
MM: Ooh, Mommy, this is a good stick. I think I'll add it to my collection.

************************************************

She just learned the word "famished" last week! She came into the living room on Friday, whining and acting like she was about to fall down (you know, just for dramatic flair) and said, "Mommy, I am so hungry. I am vanished. I need some food."

Hope y'all have a great week!

Heh . . . I'm vanished, too. I rather like using "vanished" instead of "famished" . . . it implies that you're actually so starved that you're disappearing. I like it.

Um, ok - just saw your comment on my blog (we'll pretend this is part of my previous comment).

Sumo totally sleeps in the same bed with me, too, because I'm still nursing and yes, it's SO much easier to just roll over and pop out the boob.

Also, the toddler bed in the room with you. What a great idea! For some reason, I'd never thought of that. It would SO solve the "go back in your room" problem and transition them into sleeping in their own bedroom by putting them in their own bed in the same room first. That's GENIUS! I'm so using that.

I keep saying I'm going to get Sumo back into his own bedroom . . . but 1) I'm lazy and it's SO much easier to just roll over and pull out the boob and 2) I hate listening to him cry in there like a kicked dog when I evict him from my bed.

Ok, that was long, but I'm totally praising your genius idea.

I've been on a diet and I WISH that parts of me were just "vanished". What a cutie-poo!

What a precious little entertainer your little MM is! I love when little kids use big words. I heard one say "apparently" the other day. I asked her how she knew that word and I got a DUH look. "Apparently" I am not with it.

"famished"! Great word. I'll have to add that to my list of words my son must know before Kindergarten! :)
