The One Where I Ramble

Do you find yourself doing the same monotonous things the exact same way? For example, do you always shave the left leg first while in the shower? Do you have routines that you always stick to? Do you brush the same side of your teeth first? Are you methodical? When you clean do you have an order?

I certainly am. I'm totally in a routine. Last night, I got to wondering, is it just me? Am I the only crazy, obsessive compulsive one out there?

On another note, I so have the winter blahs. It happens every January and February. Exercise would definitely help, but it has been way too cold outside to even think about that. Any suggestions??

Still be praying for sweet Kelly and her baby Harper.

So tomorrow I'll try to be back with a more cohesive post or even a more interesting one. Or maybe not;)

Weird, Lindsey...I do always start shaving with the same leg... (the left one). And I definitely have a RIGHT way to do the cleaning...just ask my husband. Or anyone else (college roomies, sister, mom) who has tried to clean with me. And I have noticed before that I have a certain way that I wash my hands (and dry them), and if I try to do it differently...it just simply doesn't work! (I probably have noticed this because I wash my hands no less than 5,031 times a day.) Now, you are going to have me thinking for the rest of the day about what else I do that is crazy methodical...

I totally have the winter blahs, too...Amelia needs outside time in a bad way!

Still praying HARD for Kelly and Harper.

I too get the winter blahs from lack of Sunlight! So i come up with many things to keep me distracted and busy like organizing & cleaning. and also I have a HUGE tv roster right now b.c this is the beast TV season...

I am quite methodical as well. I tend to do a lot of things in the same order every time. I always, when washing clothes, put in Tide first, then Oxi-Clean, then Clorox 2 then Downy. Same way, everytime. Even Amelia knows the order.

I have been experiencing a major case of the winter doldrums. I have been in a funk for about a week. The same thing happens this time every year, but it's worse this time because I've been dealing with sick girls (as I know you have too.)

Let's try to get together to commiserate. Maybe that will help?

Gotta go. Must balance the checkbook and take Lola to the doctor. Much love from us to you!!!

Crazy but I can completely totally relate!!! I usually wash my hair, shave under my arms, and then put the conditioner in my hair. If I get this out of sinc, I am in so much trouble!!!!

Completely understand the winter blahs. Bryan and I both get them!

Over from Trannyhead.

I have a "right" way of doing everything. Drive my husband crazy.

I do that, too - but more so that I can zone out while I'm doing whatever I'm doing and not lose track of it. For example - if I always park in the same spot at the mall I don't have to consciously think, "Oh - I parked at the SE entrance, today." Or if I always shave my legs first when I get in the shower, I don't have to wonder, "Did I shave my legs yet?" at the end of the shower. It's totally a brainpower saving tool for me.

I hate Jan/Feb because of BIG time blahs :(

Yes, I do all that too. I'm monotonous! Sometimes it annoys me! ha! It's hard not to have the blahs in Jan./Feb. I'm ready for spring and I know exercise would do me good, too.

I used to have OCD. Apparently, giving birth cured me.

I'm still trying to figure out if that's a good thing . . . I'll let you know.
